Fixing factual information

Your business name, address, phone number, website, opening hours, or service list may be wrong in our records. To fix any of these fields, provide the correct information along with proof: your website, your Google Business Profile, or another public source we can verify against. Once we confirm the correction, it stays in place even when we refresh our data in future months.

Challenging your score

Scores are never edited by hand. If you believe your score is wrong, you are claiming the underlying data is faulty: that your business was matched to a different company in our system, that reviews were attributed to you incorrectly, or that a review summary misrepresents what customers actually wrote. When you dispute a score, we re-examine the source data, fix any mix-up, and regenerate your listing. A dispute is not a request to raise your number; it is a report that the inputs are incorrect.

Requesting removal

We remove listings when a business has shut down permanently, when a listing is a duplicate of another in our system, or when a listing falls outside Connecticut Masonry Contractor Guide's scope. Our monthly re-verification process also catches and removes closed businesses on its own. A listing that is accurate, active, and within scope may be declined removal. We will give you a straightforward reason if we decline.
