Best masonry contractors in New London

★★★★★5 (12 reviews)score 79/100

Twelve reviews, all five stars, and recent ones, give this owner-run pair the strongest evidence on the list. Travis and Erica are praised for careful work, showing up on schedule and leaving the site clean. Confidence is medium, since twelve reviews is a modest sample.

• Consistent five-star record across 12 reviews
• Punctual and clear communication
• Daily cleanup of the job site
• Repeat customers across multiple projects

Watch out: Review volume is still small, so the perfect rating could shift with more jobs.

Services: brick masonry

★★★★☆3.9 (21 reviews)score 67/100

Its 3.9 rating from 21 reviews is mixed, but the praise is specific: named crew members finishing remodels on time and under budget, from commercial conversions to small repairs. The business states it has operated since 1971 and holds CT Major Contractor licenses. It has the most reviews here and very recent activity.

• Named crew (Mike Mahoney, Pete Doherty) singled out for quality
• On-time, under-budget delivery reported
• Takes both big conversions and small custom jobs
• Claims operation since 1971 in CT and RI

Watch out: Some reviewers report slow follow-up on consultations and unreturned inquiries.

Services: brick masonry

★★★★★5 (13 reviews)score 66/100

All 13 Google reviews are five stars, with praise for honoring timelines, transparent pricing and clean finished work on kitchens, decks, additions and roof repairs. One customer cites a 25-year relationship. Confidence is low because the reviews are not recent, so check current availability.

• Clear pricing and contracts
• Finishes on time
• Crew described as professional and reliable
• Long local relationships

Watch out: No recent reviews, and the work described is general remodeling more than masonry.

Services: brick masonry, concrete flatwork

★☆☆☆☆1 (1 reviews)score 44/100

This is the most masonry-specific business here, with a website claiming 30-plus years, a 2017 Connecticut Preservation Award and work across four states. But its only Google review is one star, and that single review gives no detail. Low confidence either way, so ask for references on historic and concrete repair work.

• Masonry restoration and concrete repair focus
• Claims 30+ years in operation

Watch out: The only review is a 1-star with no detail, and the claims come from its own website.

★★★★★5 (6 reviews)score 55/100

Six five-star reviews describe thorough site inspections that catch problems others missed, fair estimates and daily cleanup. The work described is roofing and siding, not masonry, so treat it as an exterior contractor. Low confidence due to the small sample and no recent reviews.

• Thorough inspections find hidden issues
• Honest estimates without upselling

Watch out: Reviews describe roofing and siding, not masonry work.

Two five-star reviews are all we have, which is too little for a reliable read on quality or consistency. It earns a place on completeness of its profile, not proven track record. Ask for references and photos of past work before hiring.

• Five stars across its two reviews
• Listed as a builder serving New London

Watch out: Only two reviews and no recent ones, so sentiment can't be judged reliably.
