Nearly all reviews praise communication, craftsmanship, and professionalism on chimney, step, and waterproofing jobs. One significant 1-star complaint alleges a quote jumped from $3,700 to $8,300 mid-project when old bricks proved brittle, with poor waste handling and pressure to expand scope.
Spotless Chimney delivers strong technical work across rebuilds and repairs, with technicians consistently praised for explaining issues clearly and backing explanations with photos. The crew shows up on time, completes major jobs efficiently (30-year-old chimneys in 3 days), and leaves sites clean daily. However, a small but vocal minority flag the front-end experience: the initial inspection carries a $250 fee not always disclosed upfront, and sales consultants push financing and upsells during estimates. For homeowners committed to a major rebuild or repair, the on-site crew's expertise and diligence are hard to fault. Before booking, know what you're looking for and review the lifetime warranty conditions; the finance options lean toward higher-rate terms.
All 17 reviews are five-star. Reviewers consistently praise Dominic and Kaylee for stamped concrete patios, drainage solutions, and pool landscaping done to specification and on schedule. The business also runs a tropical plant greenhouse with winter storage services; plant customers note expert care and quality specimens. Clean sites, prompt communication, and willingness to adjust designs set the work apart.
Long-running firm praised for large-scale exterior projects that stay on budget. Limited evidence but the reviews speak to professionalism and local ownership.
Five of seven reviews report abandoned jobs, poor communication, and shoddy work despite full payment upfront. Two isolated five-star reviews credit tree removal and fair pricing, but the pattern of incomplete projects, damaged property, and ghosting is overwhelming.
A caller seeking hydroseeding for a 2+ acre property 13 miles away was turned down without discussion. The single review offers no evidence of quality or capability.

Joe and his crew deliver consistent, straightforward chimney and masonry work backed by technical knowledge and fair pricing. Customers describe him as reliable and transparent, willing to explain problems clearly and solve difficult venting issues others turn down. Staff are respectful, show up on time, and stay in touch throughout the job. One customer praised him for attending a safety issue at 10:30pm. The business handles fireplace inserts, wood stove installations, chimney liners, caps, and repairs on both residential and complex systems. Reviewers consistently note his willingness to find cost-effective solutions instead of recommending tear-downs. No significant complaints appear in recent reviews.
