Owner brings deep technical expertise and a crew that shows up every day until work is done. Initial contact can be slow and address info needs verification, but quality and commitment win repeat jobs.
Based on limited recent reviews, so treat this as low-confidence.
Across 15 recent reviews, technicians consistently arrive on time and complete work neatly without mess. Staff explain findings clearly, share photos, and answer questions without pressure. Customers particularly praise Josh and Steve for efficiency, professionalism, and respect for the property.
Most customers praise Nutmeg's speed, responsiveness, and repair quality, especially for emergency work like storm damage and ice dams. Sonny and crew members like Chris handle estimates and coordinate with insurers smoothly. However, two serious complaints emerge: one detailed dispute over a $26,000 pergola roof built flat with no drainage (causing pooling water and structural damage), and another about a 2-hour scheduling miss with hostile follow-up. These outliers suggest execution gaps on complex builds and communication lapses when problems arise.
Victor and his crew earn consistent five-star reviews for patio, drainage, and hardscaping projects across Fairfield and New Haven counties. Homeowners praise their punctuality, professionalism, meticulous cleanup, and Victor's hands-on communication throughout the job. Work spans site prep, concrete and paver installation, retaining walls, fencing, and drainage solutions, all delivered on budget and on schedule.
