Customers report straightforward, professional duct and dryer vent cleaning. Named technicians Leo and Noah earn praise for timeliness, friendliness, and diligence. The company diagnoses problems systematically before cleaning, addressing mold and furnace work when found. No complaints appear in the limited review set.
Reviewers consistently report thorough chimney inspections, repairs, and cleanings with clear explanations before work begins. Named technicians like Harold, Gael, Kyle, and Marck arrive on schedule, complete work neatly, and take before-and-after photos; several mention responsive scheduling, fair prices, and willingness to handle related services like dryer vent and air duct cleaning on the same visit.
Every review praises John (the owner) and his crew for professional execution, punctuality, and detail-oriented work. Customers consistently highlight how the team listens to their vision, communicates clearly, and finishes projects on time and within budget, often transforming ordinary driveways and patios into standout features that increase property appeal. Reviewers note the crew works as a coordinated unit, handles unexpected problems without nickel-and-diming clients, cleans up thoroughly, and backs work with warranty. Multiple customers returned for additional projects. Services span driveway replacement, patio pavers, foundation brick, retaining walls, and asphalt pads across the Meriden and Seymour area.
Torrison's teams excel at execution: crews show up on time, take pride in their stone and patio work, and listen when customers flag concerns mid-project. Project managers like Glenn and Dominick earn repeat loyalty by staying available and thinking through details like drainage and contractor coordination. The friction point is financial: some customers have hit contract disputes or been charged for work they thought was covered, and one reviewer waited over a month for a promised quote.
Five-star reviewers consistently note quality work and professionalism. Detail is limited; the business has earned praise for getting jobs done well.
Maxwell Home Improvements arrives on time and finishes projects on budget, backed by crews who handle drywall, tile, plumbing, and hardscaping with equal care. From bathroom overhauls to foundation work and winter plowing, reviewers praise responsiveness, daily cleanup, and problem-solving in older homes with unusual constraints. Mohammed and Max personally invest in each project, explaining steps upfront and adjusting schedules when needed. One reviewer noted a disabled family member was accommodated throughout; others highlight the rare relief of needing just one contractor instead of coordinating several. Cleanliness, politeness, and positive attitudes show up across every review.
Across 12 reviews, owners praise Authentic Paving for delivering projects on time at competitive prices, with crews that work efficiently and communicate clearly. Durable results stand out: a four-year-old driveway with zero issues, complete yard transformations done in a single day, and staff like Thomas, Tommy, and John who show up daily and explain each phase as work progresses.
Customers consistently praise Jennifer and her team for transforming bland or overgrown yards into stunning outdoor spaces. The work combines bold design choices with expert execution, and the crew maintains spotless worksites. However, one recent project revealed a critical gap: when an installed walkway lacked proper drainage pitch after being told about a pre-existing drainage problem, the owner refused to rework it at no cost. That customer had to hire another contractor to fix the issue, turning an otherwise excellent project into a costly disappointment. The majority of reviews celebrate partnership and reliability, but this case raises questions about accountability when installation falls short of stated requirements.
Two recent reviews highlight careful work and competitive rates. Dylan, a technician, earned praise for detailed attention; customers report satisfaction with results and value.
Every review praises Ben's concrete work and attention to detail, especially his skill at fixing drainage problems and leveling surfaces. Customers also highlight fair pricing compared to competitors, easy communication throughout projects, and his willingness to enhance designs beyond initial expectations.
Most reviews praise fast scheduling, honest technicians who refuse unnecessary work, and clear explanations. Gina and Justin are named repeatedly for professionalism. Two older complaints flag surprise charges and unresolved leak repair, but represent a small minority against 36 five-star reviews.
Strong five-star reviews highlight Andrew's crew for roof and chimney work, fast turnarounds, fair prices, and meticulous cleanup. However, multiple one-star accounts report no-shows to quotes, nonresponse after payment, and unfinished jobs, raising questions about reliability despite the positive majority.
